Scroll down to listen!

Our lives revolve around data and technology goes hand-in-hand wherever we go. I don’t know about you, but I panic when I don’t know where my phone is. Whether we’re using google maps to find our way around, submitting job applications online or using an app to share photos of our deconstructed latte to our friends – we are unwittingly producing data everyday.

Is data gendered? Absolutely! How? Listen and find out.

This week we spoke to Zoë Condliffe, the CEO & Founder of She’s A Crowd

She’s A Crowd uses stories from women around the world to make cities safer for women. Once they have compiled the data on the what, when and where of gender-based violence the information is able to pass on to people in positions of power, who can make tangible change in the gender inequality space.

Zoë  is one of the 2018 Women’s Weekly Women of the Future for the Innovation and Technology and her company has been listed on the Smart Company Smart30 List for two years running (2018, 2019) and was winner of the Anthill Magazine’s 30under30 young entrepreneurs award.
